I'm still reaching out to bloggers in the hope of getting more interest. My daughter suggested BookTok. I had never heard of it. I had obviously heard of TikTok but did not have an account. BookTok, I was informed, is TikTok for book enthusiasts. How do I get on? I asked. I needed to like, watch and search for book-related TikTok posts constantly, and the algorithms do the rest.
I tried it, and lo and behold, it worked.
