Publishers and Agents

I never anticipated the next steps would be so difficult. All publishers and agents seem to want different things. All want a cover letter. Fine… I did that. I tailored it to each agent, specifically referencing how my novel matched what they were looking for.

But the rest was a nightmare. Whether it was elevator pitches, synopses, book blurbs, 10,000 words, or the first three chapters, I had to tailor each submission differently. That done, I dipped my toe in with around eight submissions.
